Tomato Mozzarella

with caramelized pine nuts

Ingredients for 4 people

  • 200g ox heart tomatoes
  • 200g colorful vine tomatoes
  • 200g colorful cherry tomatoes
  • 4 buffalo mozzarella pearls
  • 50g pine nuts
  • 20g sugar
  • 20ml olive oil
  • 2 bunches basil
  • 8 tbsp Kühne Balsamissimo creamy mild
  • salt, pepper

Preparation

1. Wash and chop all tomatoes. Pluck buffalo mozzarella into pieces.

2. Melt sugar in a hot pan and let the pine nuts caramelize shortly. Let them cool down on baking paper.

3. Wash and dry basil, lay some leaves a side and puree the rest with olive oil.

4. Serve tomatoes and mozzarella on a plate, spice with salt and pepper, sprinkle pine nuts and basil leaves over it. Drizzle basil oil and Kühne Balsamissiomo Classic and serve
