Ingredients:
- 250 ml water
- 100 g butter
- 1 pinch of salt
- 4 eggs
- 200 g flour
- 200 g dark chocolate
- 200 ml cream
Preparation:
- Heat the water and butter in a pan until the butter has dissolved, then add the salt. Stir in the flour with a wooden spoon until the mixture comes away from the sides of the pan and forms a thick batter.
- Transfer to a bowl and leave to cool, then stir in the eggs one at a time with a wooden spoon until you have a creamy batter. Transfer the batter to a piping bag with a star-shaped nozzle.
- Cut the baking paper to size and prick air holes in it with a toothpick.
- Pipe the churros onto the baking paper and brush with a little oil.
- Bake in the Airfryer at 180° for approx. 10 minutes, turn once and bake for a further 5 minutes at 200 °C. Then roll in cinnamon and sugar (if necessary, brush with a little oil after baking so that the sugar sticks).
- For the chocolate sauce, heat 200 g of cream in a pan and stir in the 200 g of chopped chocolate until it has melted.
