  • 500 mlMilk
  • 100 mlVinegar
  • 100 gButter
  • 80 gFlour
  • 1 lWater

Rezept Königsberger Klopse mit Rote Bete und Kapern

1. Soak the roll in water and later squeeze out the water. After dicing the onions, mix with the eggs and the meat. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

2. Shape balls out of the meat mixture. (Hint: Do it with wet hands.) Boil the salted water and add the vinegar. Then, let the balls boil up briefly, take them out and let it steep for 15 min. Keep the fond to prepare the sauce.

3. To prepare a roux sauce, melt butter in a large pot, add flour and sweat it with continuous stirring. Bring milk and 500ml of the fond to a boil while constantly stirring so that there are no lumps.

4. Season to taste with salt, pepper and sugar. Finally, put the capers with brew and the meatballs into the sauce. Serve with Kühne Beetroots and boiled potatoes.
